What a woman really wants for Christmas

December 22nd, 2011

The practical man is thinking Tupperware, a new vacuum, an iron…yeah…she will love that…Ha!

The romantic man is thinking Victoria Secret gift certificate, a trip to a Healing Spa, or a weekend getaway for two…that will soften her up.

The generous man is thinking jewelry, a diamond watch, expensive clothing…yes, that will mean so much to her.

However, the thoughtful and creative man thinks totally outside the box. He asks himself, “what does my wife really want from me? Practical things that will most likely get me in the dog house? Material things that she won’t remember me by next year?” He knows that what a woman really wants. He knows she wants Security. Knowing that she is always taken care of – in sickness and in health. Especially when he can no longer be there for her.

Have you ever thought of putting a life insurance policy in her stocking? Well if you haven’t – Why not?

As professional advisors, it’s our job to make sure you have all of your tax and financial needs met. Oftentimes, life insurance is one of the best tools and leverage a person can put in place for future security. However, it is usually one of the last things anyone wants to deal with and affordability is often the heart of the matter. A simple inexpensive solution would be to invest in a term life insurance policy. For the right person this could literally be life saving solution for an unwelcome surprise.

Staying healthy takes a lot of work and once you become uninsurable, life insurance becomes unaffordable. But if you are young and just getting started in a new marriage, a new career or are still very insurable now in a ripe middle age, make sure that you have given this part of your financial plan some thought.

Working girls, this goes for you too. If you are a single mom raising children on your own, or a ripe career woman who simply has neglected this thought process, we invite you to ask these questions at your next financial checkup.

As always we are available for consultation and would love to service your tax and financial needs. We invite you to browse our website, get to know our staff and prepare for those last minute stocking stuffers.

With warmest wishes for a most meaningful Christmas Season,
